This in-person taster is an introduction to our FAA accredited: Safeguarding Awareness for working with Actors (Level 1) training. The session will cover foundational Safeguarding practice and build upon learners existing knowledge.

Attendees will learn the principles necessary to protect the health, well-being and human rights of vulnerable individuals, particularly those from underrepresented groups. We will explore the tools needed to prevent, identify and respond to disclosures relating to abuse, harm and neglect.

Safeguarding 101 is for freelancers, individuals and organisations operating in the creative industry who work with children and adult talent. Co-delivered by Artists on The Couch.
